Vendor registration is a 2 part procedure, managed by CTUG to ensure fairness for all participating vendors:
At precisely 12:00 PM (EDT) on Wednesday, July 10, the vendor registration page will become active. You complete the registration process using the on-line Registration wizard (by clicking the "Vendor Registration" button to start the wizard). Once you've completed the forms then you will automatically be linked to the PayPal website to make payment, as described below.
Once registered, a position for booth space is secured using the time that you started the Registration wizard. As part of your registration, you also indicate if you wish to apply for a Vendor Track session and/or a Sponsorship opportunity, as well as indicate your participation in the Attendee Prize Draw program. Vendor Tracks and Sponsorship assignments are not guaranteed at this time however, and payment in this registration procedure is for the booth space only.
Vendor registration will be closed once the 16 booth spaces have been allocated to vendors.
Once vendor registration is closed, CTUG will contact each vendor, one at a time, starting in the order that registrations were received (based on time of registration). Each vendor will be offered the specific Vendor Track and/or Sponsorship opportunities as per their request. Once allocated, the vendor can make payment for Vendor Track or Sponsorships directly from the CTUG website.
Once confirmed, CTUG will contact the next vendor, in registration order, and the process will continue until all Vendor Track sessions and Sponsorships have been allocated.
Vendor Track session and Sponsorship opportunities cannot be chosen; CTUG will assign your time and location based on content relevancy and the potential for competing subject matter.
CTUG uses PayPal as its payment processor. Paypal accepts all major credit cards as well as direct Paypal account payments.
You can use PayPal in one of two ways to select a payment method:
- Log on to PayPal using your PayPal account. This will allow you to use any of your previously registered credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal accounts for payment.
- Use PayPal without having a PayPal account.
After clicking on the “Register” button for the registration wizard, you will be taken to the PayPal login page. On the right side of the page you will see "Choose a way to pay". Click either "Have a PayPal account?" (you need to know the email and password that was used with the card) or "Don't have a PayPal account?" - simply enter your credit card information, to proceed with payment.
Important Note: If your credit card or email address is already registered with PayPal, you will need to use your PayPal account (method #1) for payment. This is a security measure implemented by PayPal to protect your privacy.
PayPal Payment Problem?
If you run into problems with making your payment using our registration wizard, you can go directly to PayPal and make your payment to firstname.lastname@example.org by:
- Using your PayPal account if you already have one (just click on the "Send Money" tab), or
- Select the “Send Money Online” link and make your payment.
Note your Conference registration will have been received by CTUG regardless of payment problems.
